How do I get a Semi-Gloss finish with EPIC®?

Can I mix EPIC® Gloss with EPIC® Matte to achieve a semi-gloss coating?

EPIC® Gloss and EPIC® Matte are not compatible. Mixing these two will NOT result in a semi-gloss finish.

To achieve a semi-gloss finish, begin with EPIC® Gloss and add Ultra Grip:

  • For a Low Gloss, use Fine Ultra Grip. This should be applied using the T-Bar/Back-Roll method.
  • For a Semi-Gloss, use Medium Ultra Grip. This can be applied using either the Rolling method or the T-Bar/Back-Roll method.
  • To add traction/slip resistance while maintaining a high gloss, use Coarse Ultra Grip. This should be applied using the Rolling method.
